Today, I’m providing a comprehensive review of Norwex products. Is Norwex worth all that money? Is it really environmentally friendly? Do Norwex products really work? Read about all the products in my Norwex reviews below.
Examine your lifestyle needs to determine if it matches the attributes of Norwex’s products before making a final decision about buying them or not. One of the main factors to consider when evaluating Norwex products is how they align with your lifestyle.
With a wide variety of products, ranging from cleaning cloths to laundry detergents, you can choose which items meet your individual needs and preferences. Consider what type of cleaning job you need to be performed, whether you need a product that’s easy to use or effective at removing stubborn stains, and how much time and effort you want to put into making sure the job gets done right. The answers to these questions can help you determine if Norwex’s products are the best option for you.
Find out which are the best Norwex products I’ve tried, which I like and which ones are just meh!
First, I’ll start with my thoughts on whether or not Norwex really is environmentally friendly, then move on to provide a review of the various products I tried, complete with a 5-star rating.

Is Norwex Environmentally Friendly?
First, let’s address the Norwex controversy. Is Norwex really environmentally friendly?
Let’s start with microfibre. We don’t often think about what stuff is made of. However, the textile industry is the second biggest polluting industry, right behind oil. What stuff is made of should definitely weigh in on our decisions.
Norwex cloths are made using microfibres with BacLock technology. The microfibre is woven with micro silver, which acts as an antibacterial agent reducing mould, fungi and bacterial odour so the cloth is ready to use over and over.
Microfibre is made up of polyester and polyamide. Not only does the process of making synthetic materials cause pollution, but they also contribute to the microplastic waste that’s accumulating in our oceans.
Pros & Cons
There are arguments on both sides of the fence as to whether or not Norwex really is environmentally friendly.
Here’s an article arguing for Norwex: https://www.norwexmovement.com/6-reasons-microfiber/
And here’s another arguing against https://wellnessmama.com/5621/microfiber-green-cleaning/
It’s also important to note that although Norwex is made of microfibre, many of Norwex products are designed to replace single-use plastic and paper towels. Also, some popular microfibre products now contain up to 70% of recycled materials.
Norwex also states that they have a Microfiber Recycling Program that converts discarded microfibre into clean, renewable energy. I’m interested to learn more about that…
On Norwex and Sustainability
On another sustainable note, the packaging uses OceanBound plastic which helps reduce the plastic entering our oceans.
I say, do your research, weigh the pros and cons and decide for yourself if Norwex is right for you.
My personal stance is that’s it’s good for me since I don’t have to use harmful chemicals to clean my home. I can stop buying consumable cleaning products, which in turn, will reduce the amount of plastic I use.
How to get free Norwex products
First, I’ll start off by saying that I’ve been using some Norwex products for several years already, mostly the enviro cloths. After learning that my cousin became a consultant, I figured I’d host a party myself. It would support her business while I earn some free products and introduce others to Norwex.
I had a successful party which earned me about $500 worth of free products. I’ve been using them for the last few months and I can now tell you which are amazing “can’t live without” products and which ones work well.
Product Review Rating System
Here’s how my review works. I will be rating each item on a 5-star system. From AMAZING (5-stars) to not worth buying (1-star).

Norwex Cleaning
Enviro Cloths ★★★★☆
The EnviroCloth is Norwex’s bread and butter. The idea behind these Norex cleaning rags, and many other Norwex products, is that you don’t need harmful chemicals to clean. You can remove up to 99% of the bacteria from a surface using only water.
You can clean pretty much any surface with these cloths. I first started out using Norwex 2 or 3 years ago and the Enviro Cloths were my first purchase. I’ve been using and loving them ever since.
EnviroCloths absorb liquids very efficiently and make cleaning my kids’ spills and messes easy peasy.
I have a fresh batch of EnviroCloths and I feel the newest iterations of them are even better than before, and they come in all kinds of fun colours. The EnviroCloths are used daily in my household, sometimes even several times a day. They are my ultimate go-to for everything!
Product Review Rating: Great ★★★★☆
Window Cloth ★★★★☆
The window cloth is a staple amongst my cleaning tools. I use it every week to polish off surfaces and get streak-free windows and mirrors. I also use it on chrome and stainless steel to make it sparkle.
What else can I say about this product? It works just as intended but it’s useful and I use it several times a week.
Product Review Rating: Great ★★★★☆
Dusting Mitt ★★★☆☆
Ah, the dusting mitt. I think I wanted to love this product more than I do. I can get the same results if I’m dusting with an EnviroCloth in my opinion.
Maybe I’m underwhelmed with the dusting mitt because I hate dusting, and let’s face it, I still have to dust weekly. I’m not sure what I was expecting, perhaps that I would only need to dust monthly? It doesn’t magically remove dust forever, which is really too bad.
Rant aside, this product works as intended and it does indeed attract and hold the dust well.
Product Review Rating: Works ★★★☆☆
EnviroWand ★★★☆☆
The EnviroWand is used to reach high or hard-to-reach nooks and crannies. The chenille and microfiber sides attract and hold dust and dirt. I use it to clean my chandeliers, door and windowsills and ceiling fans.
I’ve also used to clean the inside of the oven door to catch dust and webs growing in there. See the video below for instructions. Works like a charm.
I say the wand works as intended, but it’s not something I use daily or even weekly. It’s good to have around when I’m doing a thorough deep clean.
Product Review Rating: Works ★★★☆☆
Cleaning Paste ★★★★★
The Norwex cleaning paste is made of marble flour and coconut oil.
I use this s#*t on everything. Seriously, I love the cleaning paste. I use it to clean my sinks, my oven top, to clean the tile grout or to scrub my pots and pans. Its purposes are endless.
I worry that I’ll run out soon even though it’s supposed to last a long time, simply because I love the elbow grease power it provides.
When I eventually run out, I will be repurchasing the cleaning paste. I love it, love it, love it!
Product Review Rating: Amazing ★★★★★
Superior Mop System ★★★★☆
I have two young boys, enough said. Just kidding, but because I have two young boys, I don’t have to tell you that my floors get dirty A LOT.
I have lots of types of mops in my pantry, but for the longest time, I would clean my floors on hands and knees with the EnviroCloth because nothing was cleaned as well.
Until I purchased the mop that is. I’ll be honest, I prefer vacuuming my floors than using the dry mop head since I don’t have to bend over and deal with the debris. However, the dry mop is good at locking in particles and for those in-between days of deep cleaning.
Once my floors are free of crumbs, dust and hair, I use the wet mop head to wash the floors. It leaves my floors clean, shiny and free from waxy chemicals. Then the kids can resume rolling around on the floors and I feel better knowing I didn’t use any chemicals.
Also, the mop comes with a telescopic handle and the base tilts 360° which makes quick work of cleaning the floors without busting my back. I don’t have to bend or get on my hands and knees.
It’s expensive, but I think it’s worth the investment!
Product Review Rating: Great ★★★★☆
Oven Cleaner ★★★★★
I needed the Oven and Grill cleaner and it didn’t disappoint.
So, I’m a migraine sufferer. Sometimes, harsh chemicals can trigger a migraine. Oven cleaners are definitely on my list of migraine triggers. I avoid cleaning the oven full stop until I found this product.
Before using the Oven and Grill cleaner, I tried to use the cleaning paste with a scrubby and it didn’t work efficiently enough because my oven was so dirty.
Finally, I broke down and bought the Oven and Grill cleaner in desperation to get my oven clean and I was so impressed. It left my oven sparkling clean and looking like brand new and no migraines!
To get my oven sparkling like new, I used the oven cleaner as directed and scrubbed with a spirinett which is made of stainless steel and used for tough jobs.
I highly recommend this hard-working duo for cleaning your oven.
You can also use it on pots and pans and bakeware that have baked-on food that are greasy messes. SO. WORTH. IT.
Product Review Rating: Amazing ★★★★★
Toilet brush
Never thought I’d crush on a toilet brush, but I do on the Norwex Ergonomic Toilet Brush and Holder.
What do I love about this brush? Well, for starters, it has an antibacterial agent to help suppress bacteria and mould growth for starters. And the other thing is the special extension to reach under the rim.
My toilet is as white as it can be, and I never have to use any chemicals. Amazing right?
I find the rubber bristles don’t hold on to water and a little shake and it doesn’t leave a gross puddle in the bottom of the holder.
And the price is right too! If you are looking at building your Norwex stock for chemical-free cleaning, this is a MUST BUY, at only $20.99.
Product Review Rating: Amazing ★★★★★
Norwex Laundry
Ultra Power Plus Laundry Detergent ★★★☆☆
I received this as a gift as a hostess to an online Norwex party. My initial reaction was, WOW, the packaging is so small, especially for $26.99.
However, once I tried it out, and saw for myself how little you actually need to put in your laundry, I see that it’s a good product. If you have a high-efficiency washer, you’ll need even less so $26.99 will stretch you longer.
It washed my clothes very well. It contains biodegradable surfactants and is free from phosphate and fillers.
I feel that we are not used to using so little laundry detergent that we might have used too much of it and it didn’t stretch as long as I wished it to. I’ll consider reordering this in the future.
Product Review Rating: Works ★★★☆☆
Fluff and Tumble Dryer Balls ★★★☆☆
I lived without a dryer for several months during the Pandemic since no one would deliver to the house for quite a while. However, once I got my new dryer, I was excited to use my dryer balls.
These dryer balls are made of sheep’s wool. They help reduce static and wrinkles and cut down on drying time. Best of all, they are chemical-free, unlike dryer sheets.
If you want to have fresh-scented laundry, you can add some essential oils to the laundry balls.
I don’t think that the dryer balls are a must-have, but they are definitely nice to have.
Product Review Rating: Works ★★★☆☆
Norwex Body
Washcloths ★★☆☆☆
I received the Body Pack washcloths as part of my hostess gift. When I reach for a facecloth, I do reach for them because they are new and soft.
I have to admit that I’m not sure how I feel about washing my face with just water though. I always use my regular face wash. To rate them, I think I’ll give them just a “meh”. Sure they work, but they haven’t impressed me either.
Product Review Rating: Meh! ★★☆☆☆
Lysere Body Products ★★★☆☆
These clean beauty products were part of my gift for hosting a party. I received the Lysere Illuminating oil, the Body Wash and Body Balm
I honestly didn’t want to like them. Why? Because it’s just another expensive thing to purchase. But alas, I have to admit that I do like them all.
The Illuminating oil smells great and keeps my skin hydrated, but it’s very expensive, of course.
The body wash also smells amazing. It’s nice and gentle and didn’t dry out my skin.
And finally, the Body Balm. I have to admit, it’s my favourite of the three. It smells so good, like mint mixed with florals. I used it on my elbows, knees and feet to help restore dry chapped skin. It’s not too expensive and I’m definitely looking at buying this again.
Beware, for those with nut allergies, these products may contain nut-derived ingredients)
Product Review Rating: Works ★★★☆☆
Conclusion
In conclusion, as you can see I’ve rated everything from meh! to amazing. Norwex products are really high quality and you won’t go wrong when you purchase Norwex. Care and use your products as directed and they will last you a long time and make your short-term investment a great value over time.
Or, like me, host a party and earn free products.

Thanks for the review. I have a small starter pack of Norwex cloths, but I was interested in other products. I think the cleaning paste and oven cleaner may be my next purchases.
I never used these, but have a similar paste for ceramics made of the same ingredients. for the rest i don’t use any products, and agree with you that classical things could have so many chemicals. So I prefer some diy or nothing at all..
I’m always looking for natural cleaning products so thanks for such a detailed review! I hadn’t heard of this company before but now I might just have to compare those cleaning cloths to my unpaper towels.
Thanks for sharing! I’d always wondered whether these products were actually as green as advertised 🙂
